Parenting Coordinators Alliance
What is parenting coordination?
Parenting coordination is a child-focused dispute resolution process for separated parents that places children and their lifelong wellbeing at its core. It is led by a trained professional called a parenting coordinator.
The aim of parenting coordination is to support parents who, following separation:
- find communicating about their children very challenging; and
- who recognise that developing a more positive parenting relationship will help improve their children’s functioning and feelings of wellbeing in every area of their lives.
